The lesson is complete when the pilot-in-training can:
  • Demonstrate understanding of VOR equipment checks, orientation, radial interception and tracking.

  • During full-panel and partial-panel instrument references, maintain positive aircraft control with altitude ±100 feet, heading ±10° degrees, airspeed ±15 knots, and desired climb and descent rates of ±100 feet per minute.
