The lesson is complete when the pilot-in-training can:
  • Perform correct recovery techniques from unusual flight attitudes, using full- and partial-panel instrument references.
  • Perform correct recovery techniques for stalls using full- and partial-panel instrument reference and positive control techniques with a minimum loss of altitude.
  • During full-panel instrument references, maintain positive aircraft control with altitude +- 150 feet, heading +-10 degrees, airspeed +- 15 knots, and desired climb and descent rates of +- 100 feet per minute.
